Just across the street from our hotel is where the many shrimp boats out of Fulton dock. When the boats come in with a haul, the pelicans gather for supper (or lunch, or whatever. They are not picky). What the pelicans don't eat in the first rush, the egrets patiently pick out of the nets later. Here are some of Glenn's photos the first day out on the docks.

Someone said the shrimpers fish all night, return in the morning, sleep all day, and then go do it again.
