Buckhorn Saloon & Texas Rangers Museum

A few pictures of the fabulous Buckhorn Saloon and Museum. In addition to the very lively and busy saloon, there were two floors of stuffed wildlife, life-size historic scenes, wax figures and other curiosities!

It is amazing! Great photos, but it's hard to imagine how Nancy could leave out photos of the longhorn cattle.

Ooops! I do see one longhorn in one photo...guess I was looking for a closeup with the wi-i-i-i-ide angle lens.

What an interesting place - I'm in awe of all the stuffed animals...nothing says Texas, in my mind, than animal heads on walls!

Janelle, sort of like Alaska... only with the emphasis on a slightly different assortment of animals. I did not see one moose! And, come to think of it, I don't remember ever seeing any longhorn cattle in Alaska!
