Honolulu City Birds

On the fence at Iolani Palace grounds in downtown Honolulu: Zebra Dove and Red-Crested Cardinal.

Zebra doves are everywhere and their sweet cooing sound one of the most familiar sounds in Hawaii. They are so bold as to be somewhat of a pest in outdoor restaurants, landing on your table and even on your plate, if you don't watch out!

Pacific Golden Plover in the grass at Fort DeRussy on Waikiki.

Yellow-fronted Canary
